URGENT MATTER

Girls, with regards to the entry on 13th Aug, it seems like we have alot of shows coming up, not to mention a comp. We seriously need training, WE know that we aren't HEBAT.

We are training for a comp, for an annual production and for a show. These are not just ordinary performances. People pay to watch us. Our predecessors have set a benchmark, if we can't beat it, at least maintain it.

As for Khatu, I (Lela) am disappointed to know that there were no representatives from Nira for the Taklimat. Are you girls even keen? Cos I am! I am! I am!

I (Fish) have posted the Taklimat date on August 10th. The Taklimat is on September 8th. I'm sure we have ample time to discuss who should go, but nothing was discussed.

Naq and Saihah, please kindly come up with the dates and times for trainings.
It has to start next week.
Both of us are here if you need assistance.

I (Lela) think we need to have training twice a week. Time is of the essence, darlings. Just a suggestion, for one day to be afternoon, and the other to be at night in case some of you can't make it for both sessions. Someone has to make a move. We can't wait for others, dangling on a string. This is just a suggestion, ultimately, SGH/ASGH are the ones who are suppose to say "yes".

I have people coming up to me asking, "When is training" Now, instead of waiting for miracle, I'm doing something, it's up to the rest to either move along, contribute inputs or just sit and stare at this screen.

One more thing, Naq/Sai, I (Lela) want a list of members, full details, name, contact number, e-mail and also an updated attendance sheet by Sunday. Revert to me if you can't meet the dateline. E-mail me, thanks.

Please note that the blog is here for a reason. Exams are over, everyone have a reason to not skip training, am I making sense?

Note: Do note that we HAVE someone who's willing to guide us for FREE. Unlike the times when there was only us both and Ain. If we want someone to help us, we must first help ourselves.

so whats gonna happen?

Assalamalaikum kengkawans....

Seperti apa yang telah dikatakan di last training yang 2 minggu lalu, *untuk korang2 yang tak datang.. ni aku blg ni hah!*, training will resume after exams sebab aku tak nak distract korang of your studies and I want you girls to do well for the exams.

However the main question is....

Abe bulan puasa camne ni...?

Ahhh.. bulan puasa tetap ader training ye kengkawans. Why? Sebab kita dah kekurangan masa.

• Puasa - 13 September
• Hari Raya - 13 October? I think ah. One month maahh.
• Pentas - November.
• Laini's Sister's Wedding - December
• Piala Khatulistiwa - December

So.. korang realisekan berape sempitnya waktu. Thats why during puasa there would still be training. Training would not be after buka and it would only be once a week *i think*. It would either be 12-2pm or 3-5pm. So can I have your votes on what time is suitable and comfortable for you girls?

I'm making the decisions open to all of you because aku nak aderkan training where you girls would come down. If I were to decide on the training dates and times, abe korang tak datang, it would defeat the purpose altogether.

So it would be good if you can voice out your opinions. It's all about working together.

School would reopen somewhere in October but of course, a few days or like a week after Raya starts. So training would be as per normal then. During the Raya week, training TBC.

However, during Puasa, there would definitely be an iftar to discuss about what's up for Pentas basically. Me and some of the seniors would be planning this and I've planned it to take place on the 20th or 21st. So do make yourselves free ok. And again, this is TBC. I'll update you girls now and then.

So korang2 ni eehh.. pls pls pls come down training. Kita dah betol2 takde masa. If korang ade pape questions, just msn me, call me, sms me, email me. Whatever laa eh is easy for you. Anyways, I need to know when your exams end. So I would know which week we can start training.

Lastly, Good Luck for your exams. Do study hard. Jangan laaa korang fail. Seriously. Aku tak nak korang fail atau amik supp paper. So concentrate on your exams. Boyfriend boyfriend letak tepi dulu. Lepas exams baru bole.. Haha...!

So , mimpi je lah eh sayangs. I wish we could, then we don't have to rent every time, which ultimately costs more. Sigh. Nonetheless, at least we can tukar-tukar baju kanz?

updates..

As you all know, our show was cancelled. However, no show doesn't mean no training.

So training will still continue as we need to consistently be prepared for any upcoming shows. 3 confirmed events that we would be performing would be...

• Pentas (November)
• Piala Khatulistiwa 2007 (December)
• Laini's sister's wedding (December)

I guess we have to start changing our thoughts on preparation for shows especially. Kiter ni tak hebat. Bukannye boleh dapat set overnight. Belajar lagu in a few hours pon belom tentu.

So, it's better to be prepared rather then getting ready at the last minute.

Trainings would be EVERY THURSDAY at 6pm, studio 3. So hope all of you girls get the message. I don't want to have to remind everybody every week. So if you can't make it, please make the effort to tell me through a simple sms. If you can't get me, tell Saihah or Jaja or whoever that is coming. I think it's basic courtesy that all of you should know. OK? Aku tak marah laaaa.... aper seyy.... :)

Training for de nxt 2 wks

For those who came down to training, good. At least you know the song and some of the ragams. Kepade yang tak turon, knape eh?

For those who inform me, that's good. For those who don't, hmm.. im not sure why. Please girls. Make it a habit to inform me whether you are coming or not. So at least we won't be waiting for each other. Some of you did promise me you'd come down to training, but in the end you don't show up. Sedah tau i.... :) But anyways, next time, always inform me. Aku tak marah laa.. aku tak marah punye org. I'm a kind hearted person :)

Ok nevermind. School is going to start next week for all of us except for those design students, so training would be twice a week for the next two weeks. We have only 4 trainings left until the show. Please do come down to training. Don't make things hard for everyone.

We still have lots of things to do. We want to give people a good, entertaining show. I'm still working on a set with the R&D team. So sorry if I hold back our progress. I'm trying my best to get it done at least the "juara" part by next training.

Ok, I've set the training times for 19th and 21st June 2007 to be from 12 to 3. I'm sorry for those having SIP or those working during these times. But my decision has to accomodate to the majority. So I hope everyone understands. Anyway, it is only for one week because the training will start at the last week of the 2 week term break.



Subsequent practices when school reopens would be every Tuesday and Thursday. I promised that training would be once a week but due to our upcoming performance on the 7th July, I have to make practices twice a week. I hope I have everyone's co-operation about this ok.



So I want to see you girls in training. Gather at the koi pond if the studio is not open yet k lovelies.

This is your first public performance for the year girls, especially you freshies. Make this experience an enjoyable one and show what we've got.

Performance for NIRA..!!!

Announcement:

Nira Nyertika has taken up an invitation to perform at Serangoon JC. It's on Saturday, 7th July, 7.30 pm - 9.30pm. It's a concert by Paya Lebar Kovan Community Club.

I've asked Fid about it and he agreed to perform. So I guess it's abit too late to ask you girls to come down training next week. Lagipon akoo pegi holiday.. :x So we will start training on the 19th June 2007. Training would be twice a week because we only have 3 weeks before performance day.

Oh and I want to know your preference timing for trainings? For me, I prefer it to be somewhere in the afternoon so that you girls won't be home late. But I believe that some of you are working. So please inform me ASAP about your preferred timings so that I can get the rooms for our training ok?

This is the first public concert for Nira this year and I want all you girls to get the experience and exposure.

I will email all of you and also SMS ok. So please do keep yourself updated.

Student Ambassadors / 'Vacation' Trip

Ok, so I'm attached to Media Development Authority (MDA), doing Events. Now there's a big, big, BIG event coming up- BroadcastAsia, 17th to 22nd June. It's held at Singapore Expo. There are some that are held at other places, such as Red Dot Museum, Ritz Carlton etc but mainly, Expo.

Now, we need student volunteers aka ambassadors. I have contacted Pace Setters, thinking they would help, I mean, it's a good platform for our very own TP mates. Unfortunately, they can't provide me with students, as this is NOT a TP Event.

I was wondering, maybe you girls could be of a help here. We're sending MASS e-mails to NTU (done, alhamdullillah) and TP (I'm still chasing them for this!).

Now, I think it'd benefit you girls, it's not always that you have the opportunity to be PAs of some big shots. And I really mean BIG INTERNATIONAL SHOTS from Canada, France, etc who are key players in the media industry. So you're going to ride in a limo with them and whatnot. Personal Assistants ok! I can't promise you the world, but these are some possibilities. Mostly, we need ushers, directional assistants etc.

I thought this is something good. I'm not saying this because I need your help. It's just that, if you girls are interestred, we can go for a "vacation" do things like this together. And this will be something to reminisce about! Besides gaining experience and exposure, we can bond. At least, there's a common topic for us to talk about during mingling/break sessions.

Hopefully your termtests will be over by then and I'm praying that it's the term break. It is right? 17th - 22nd June

I won't lay the explicit details here. Go to my blog, I'll provide you with the neccessary details. I really think this will be a good and enriching experience. Ok, this is so advertising for MDA. Please consider. Well, if you have nothing to do, this is a healthy activity besides Dikiring!

Due to I-dont-know-what reasons, AGM cum Orientation is POSTPONED to 26th May 2007. So whatever upcoming details,I would definitely inform you guys.

Updates about the camp...

From news that I received, the camp is changed to a one day thing. So there would be no overnight-ing. Most likely it would be on the 19th May 2007, Saturday, 8.30am-9pm.

So it would be one full day la. Next training, please bring the $3 and also I would be taking down all your profiles and information like your full name, matric card no. and all that la. I'm still trying to match your names with your faces and trying my best to remember all of you. For those of you who have friends that are interested to join Nira, do bring them down also.

I will SMS the freshies because some of them didn't come on last Thursday. However, I need help with the SMS-ing because my prepaid are limiting my SMS-es.

So do come down to training because there is lots for me to tell. Cya on Tuesday!!!

Orientation for freshies

Hey girls. Next week, I would be starting the orientation with the freshies and I require ALL of you to attend the orientaion because I want to let the freshies see their juniors and also see what Nira is made of. The first training would be filled with games and not much of dikir but obviously games would be of relevance to dikir. So yeah.

So since Tuesday is a public holiday, unless korang2 ni nak bukak skola laa yer on that day abe bobal2 dgn security guard....
The orientation will be on Thursday, 3rd May 2007 at 6pm. From then onwards, training is twice a week and that would be every Tuesday and Thursday because the next performance would be our AGM performance and it would be held during camp which is on the 18-19 May and if you do realise, we do not have much time. It's only a mere 3 more weeks from now. It's a one night camp and it's gonna be da bomb! DA BOMB! Kalau tak pergi, korang KENTAL k.

So do attend the orientation next Thursday so that you guys could get to know your freshies better. I have about 16 girls who have signed up and I want them to STAY.

If there are any questions, and if you can't attend, do inform me.

But seriously, the best would be for all of you to attend the orientation and not just the SGH or ASGH or committee. I want ALL OF YOU to come. I would be doing some profile updating also on that particular day so it's of significance that you attend.

I have inform you guys like at least a week earlier so that you guys would have time to start out your plans for the week.

Takde Training

TODAY'S TRAINING IS CANCELLED!!!!!!

You guys must be wondering why it's cancelled eventhough the show is next week....

It's because apparently I'm getting sick and tired of having to come down to training everyday, seeing only a mere 5 or less people in the HUGE studio. I'm beginning to see that the studio and Arts Space is actually big.

I get it that you guys have informed me that you guys can't commit due to other commitments. Some of you have work, some of you have don't know what. Some promise to come, but in the end didn't. Some just had no reason to come down for training.

Orang yang ader SIP pon sanggup turon dari City Hall to school to attend training, and with what? A mere 5 pathetic people. Even people who have to train other schools, came down,but with what? Hardly a full row of girls. If anyone thinks that they have commitments, other people also have commitments.

NEXT WEEK I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ANY REASONS OF THE SAME SORT TO AVOID COMING DOWN TO TRAINING AND REHEARSAL.

I'm really dissapointed ok. And for this, I want ALL OF YOU to perform. Next week is the start of school and I'm sure none of you would still be working. I don't think you girls would still have "commitments" of any other sort. C'mon girls, Nira has a full good strength right now ok. I don't want it to go lesser.

In fact, I aimed to recruit 20 girls this year. And if I see this kinda attitude continuing in the future, I don't think I would be able to see my 20 girls.

The show is on Wednesday, 25th April 2007. There will be rehearsal on Monday, 8.30pm-9pm. I'm will be making use of Monday and Tuesday for ALL OF YOU to train on your ragams and song. I will post the song here and also on Nira's Multiply. Ragams are all recycled so I believe that none of you will be having problems.

So please eh girls, I want to see all of you on Monday. Training will start at 6pm SHARP!

Anyways, hope to have fun. We seniors would really be thankful if you girls turn up. Planning was done way ahead, just for korangs.

Anyways, how polite of you girls to just disappear from training. Arts Fest is next week, kalau korang rase korang sume da SUPERB, POWER, MAMPAT, HEBAT, HANDAL, MAGNIFICENT, aku nak tengok jer.

The reason why Nira was one of the sub-grp chosen from MAG is cos THEY (orang atas) know that we'll be able to make-it for rehersals which is Monday and Tues night, if I'm not mistaken.

Aku bukan nak berbual world, tapi, aku nga SIP, end at 6.30pm, yang da lengit, bangun pukul 6pagi, bole turun all the way to sch, just to make sure everything's alright, tapi KORNG TAKDE. FOR YOUR INFO, I WON'T BE PERFORMING, PASAL KEADAAN TAK MENGIZINKAN, which sucks as hell.

Jadi kalau korang fikir, korang banyak commitment, dengar2 kite ni bukan anak org, bukan matair orang, bukan kakak orang, bukan adik orang, bukan employee orang. Kalau korang ade laki, nak buatkan kopi ke, ade anak, nak kene netek kan ke, korang SHOULD HAVE THE BLOODY INITIATIVE TO INFORM NAQ.

Fid da sampai tepat pada waktu, dah nak ajar, budak-budak takde. Ape ni? FOR YOUR INFO, Fid buat ni sume, tak dibayar, da setahun. WHY? Ask him why he's been there. ASK HIM.

MY POINT IS, IF AN OUTSIDER, WHO'S NOT INVOLVED CAN SACRIFICE HIS BLOODY TIME FOR US, KITE NI BUAT APE?

Training next week.

My fellow lovely girls....

Next week will be a whole week of training. Why? It's because we do not have much time left to prepare for our Arts Fest performance which will be happening on the 25th April 2007.

So for next week, training will be EVERYDAY and it will start at 5pm. Yer, aku tau,hari-hari. If you are not coming, please have the initiative to inform me so that all of us do not have to wait for each other, macam tongong and guessing whether you would be attending training or not.

So please please do each other a favour. If you don't want to inform me, the least you could do is inform your fellow friends, so that whenever I ask, at least I would get a response rather than a "I dunno." C'mon girls, it's time that we take things seriously, and professionally.

TRAINING WILL START THIS THURSDAY!!!

Yes I know. Last minute nyer story but I also know about ArtsFest LAST MINUTE GILER!!!!!

AND WE NEED TO START TRAINING NOW NOW NOW!!

Arts Fest will be either on 24th or 25th April.

We are left with hardly less than 2 weeks to prepare.

Training will be this THURSDAY, 12th April 2007, at 6pm. Meet at KOI POND because I'm not sure whether we can get a studio on that day or not. Me, Sai and Lela won't be coming early because we have a camp on that day and we are not sure what time it ends. So please please attend training ok. I'll be sending out SMSes to certain people. So those whom I sent it to, please tell your fellow friends. Prepaid akoo budget giler!

So I'll see you on Thursday ok. I have put Jaja,Wani and Nana in charge for the moment to get the keys, start training and what not.

Please come early so we can have a fruitful training. Love u girls.

Arts Introduction Camp

Next week, there will be a 2-day Arts Introduction Camp. This is a compulsory camp ok. I will get the information about it very soon and so I will update you guys about it. From what I know, it will be on the 11th and 12th April.

So please please make the days free. We didn't have a Persada Camp, so this would is the camp that all of us have been waiting for. *i presume*

Ok so I've been thinking about the outing that I'm planning to have....
And I think I would be going for the bowling idea.

But why not picnic?
It's because it's about leceh la. Korang imagine eh, nak bawak tikar, makanan, plates, forks, spoons, drinks, cups. Who's gonna bring food? Dgr2 picnic kao duduk bawak pokok kelape, abe main hindustan dgn each other. Touching okays. So yeah, abit leceh.

Tapi swimming ok ape? Zoo pon bole jugak.
Swimming..?? Hmm.... ntah eh. Akoo macam find it abit boring. Kalao pegi Wild Wild Wet takpe jugak, Lela dgn Jaja blanje. LOL! Escape oso ok la tapi expensive uh. Abe nanti korang takot tgh kering. Bank account korang pon dah mintak hampun siak. *Lagi2 bank account akoo. Dah puase entah brape bulan. Kesian.* Zoo? Jauh eh! Lagipon, nak pegi Zoo kener pagi. Tapi tgk keadaan korng2 semer, training kul 10 je asik datang lambat. So idea Zoo tu scrap!

Senang mmg la senang. Tapi kan, ader ker korang nak dtg? Anyways, kiter ni kalao datang 3-4 org bole la jugak. Skali datang dgn satu bas rombongan? Mintak hampun siak pekerja tempat mkn tu. Tempat mkn tu skali mintak hampun. And again, $$$? Anyways, akoo kalao dinner, at least I wana book sum place wif gud ambience. Takkan la kao nak suro akoo book tempat kedai kopi siak. Dgr2 kedai kopi buat reservation? *Tekno buat reservation? Uncle Soon meninggal agaknye nak amik order kiter.* But if anyone is with it, den akoo tak kesah.

So therefore, the final decision would be BOWLING!

I have yet to confirm with you guys the time, date and venue for this. I was thinking about Marina Square's bowling alley. Because it's not always crowded and it's a good session for us to enjoy ourselves before the school semester starts. Then after that, we can have lepak session at Esplanade or something. So yeah, I'll think about it. Korang2 rajinlah baca blog nira. Ader blog buat ape kan? Takkan buat tayangkan ajer.... Takmo waste blogspot nyer resources k.*walaupon its free.*

So my lovely sweethearts, I really hope ALL OF YOU can make it for this outing okay. For once, I wana see the original group of freshies who first join Nira. It would be nice to see that whole of Nira again. Mcm kewl gitu kan?

Pentas is over, but the Pentas fever has not subside. For N2T, of course. I haven't had time to read/blog/upload (mmg tkde gmbr langsong nk diupload; sumer dr heppone/cam org) pix. Kire ni first time, after such a long time aku tk baca blog ni. Boy, was I touched. *potato cheebs, but i teared even now*

I have no idea what to say now. I'm like simply crying even as I type this. Girls, you've done your greatest in Pentas. In my 3 years, this pentas, bonding within subgroup NIRA is the best. Ups n downs of everything.

When I first took over Nira, I had no freaking idea what was I supposed to do. I had to juggle almost every task. I became everything in Nira. Slowly we overcame all odds.And slowly means slowly. *pelan-pelan* Nira, in its name has come a long way. Way when it was formed even when I just stepped into Secondary School. How different is the old Nira n now, it doesn't matter anymore. I do hope I have made our alumnis proud of Nira NyerTika.

Once again, I apologize to you girls, in every aspect I may have hurt you girls. But alas, I get to see you girls united. For those who weren't there, I'm sorry, you couldn't commit due to parents' strict rules n supp papers. But I do hope to see Nira back as a whole n rock during Arts Fest. I'm sorry, if I havent been a good leader, like you may have expected.

I may have move on. But my darling beloved will always remain. I will treasure everything I have with you girls. Like when you girls n almost whole of MAG sung me a birthday song. Like when we played silly games of charades n Ain being the badut, n Chop Chilli Chops. Like all other training sessions when only 5 came down. Like when we had lunch n dinner together. Like when we joke n laugh around among oursleves only. LIke when Fid pressured me to write those lyrics. Like evertyhing that involves Nira.

New sub-comm, have confidence in yourselves. Your tasks are diversified n you'll need each other n the rest as well. I hope you'll have no problem with each other. To the rest, those you're not chosen to be in the sub-comm, don't run away as yet. Nira wont just stop here. Nira has a longer way to go. And to make Nira a proud name under MAG, is everyone's task. The more ppl bitch about us, the more we'll stay united, n be friendly clown like Naqiah.

To Niki the Clownie / Chombi / Naqiah, our new SGH: I picked you, because you have that potential. Not that others dont, but I know you can set an example for your elders. Girls, for those who have yet to know, our clown just turn 17 last New Year.That makes her the youngest amongst us. I want to be patient, especially when only 1 comes down to trng. Alhamdullillah, Pentas is over. Now I AM SO FREAKING FREE!!!!! I MISS U GIRLS SO MUCH, I don't even have time to read this blog. Anyways, my apologies for not committing to Nira this time around, *for the first time in history (it's gonna start raining man)* aku macam lost giler, kene catch up banyak bende.

Nonetheless, compared to other sub-groups, at least selambat-lambat korangs, punctual jugak. Anyways, my apologies lagi, that speech yang telah menghancurkan make-up kite yang berejam tu... Haha...

I didn't expect to even cry, ape lagi sob... Aku ni memang sensotip orangnye! I was really really touched (ok, aku danak nangis, shit!) when I see you girls holding back your tears... I WAS REALLY TOUCHED. I never expected yang korang feeling bersamaku... SOOOOO-ME eh mate merah!

When I spoke that day, I didn't look up, but when I did, Belo, Fish, Faz, Nana, and the rest were tearing, it made me lagi sayang korang... FISH! LAIN KALI JGN PELUK AKU! MAKIN BANJIR OOOI!

I can't remember what I said exactly, but I want to point this out again, you girls are so lucky this time around, last year was difficult for us seniors, no one guiding us, we're so lost... Kita semua dah train-train bagai nak rak hari-hari, bawak props, buat flag, banner, rehearsal hari-hari pat atas stage, balik lambat, lari sana lari sini, tepuk tepuk, jerit jerit....

Dan pada 23hb Mac 2007,

WE ROCKED TEMASEK POLYTECHNIC'S AUDITORIUM 1...!!!

Tears were shed, hugs were given out, good luck's, congratulations, shouts and screams of joy...It's touching to see how we girls have bonded soo much after this production.

To Fid,

Thanks soo much to our love, Fid, for guiding and helping us throughout the past few weeks. I'm sure all of us were touched by what he said to us and I definitely see, almost all of us, shedding tears. He has showed us that the main aim of us performing is to entertain. Nonetheless, our objective of being a dikir barat group is still put into every set we have performed. Thanx Fid for every bit of help, guidance and contribution you have provided N2T with.

To Ainn,

Wow, you're finally graduating. You've been through your ups and downs of being the SGH of N2T. It definitely is sad to see you go. You have done a wonderful job as the SGH. The thought of you not performing your duties well, never did came across our minds. Heck with whatever people have to say abt N2T. What's most important is our spirit and determination to deliver and give all out to the best of our ability. You are most patient with each and everyone of us and we have always respected you in more ways than one. You have helped us understand the meaning of teamwork. Now, you have to pass on the torch and move on with you future endeavours. N2T wishes you the best of luck in the coming years, and never will you be forgotten.

To Mamat,

Eventhough you weren't there throughout all our trainings, you still gave a couple of advise to improve on our performance. We appreciate your presence alot and all of us missed you while you were away at camp, berjuang untuk negara. Huahuahuahua! Anyway, grow back your hair soon and thanks for being there, sparing a thought and a few pieces of advise to N2T.

Tanpa korang tiga puaka, tak tawu aper nak jadi dengan performance N2T. Koranglah yang telah membuat show kiter sungguh lepak dan kelakar. The three of you simply make trainings fun, full of joy and laughter and is never boring. Thanx Caca for sharing some make up tips with us. All of us definitely looked hot on Friday night thanks to your make up. Your commitment to N2T is greatly appreciated, eventhough you had other commitments, like teaching and stuff. Thanx Ili for helping us out. Eventhough you had other responsibilities to take care of, you still spared some time with N2T. Not forgetting As, who is spending her last year with us. Now N2T needs to audition for a new Juara. Anyone interested? Manalah pelapis As?!?! Haha. Tapi As, takmolah luper kiter yer. We still do need you!! Infact,we need ALL OF YOU!

To Graduating Seniors,
I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. We appreciated lots of your help in performing together with us for Pentas. All of us are definitely going to miss all of you. But everyone has to say goodbye's. Nothing is forever. We need to move on. So good luck with whatever is in for the future for all of you people. Good luck in your upcoming career and never forget N2T!!!!

To ALL MEMBERS OF N2T,

This experince was a first for almost all of us. We performed for Pentas and the feeling of satisfaction was definitely there. Next, it is gonna be a fresh start for all. We are seeing some of our seniors leaving schooland MAG, and we are gonna see a new bunch of people taking charge. As for me, Ainn has put me in-charge of upholding N2T. I really didn't expect any of this happening. I never thought I would be given this responsibility. However, it definitely is an honour and I hope that all of you can cooperate with me. I will always keep on bringing up N2T's name in TP's MAG and even to the school. We need to show that the N2T girls are capable of bringing a name to the school and we are not just another dikir barat girl group. I have confidence for N2T that we are a group where people would go around saying "Eh, Nira punye performance gerek la siak" and no more hearing about N2T's performance being a session for some "smoke-break". I will never leave N2T without leaving a memorable something behind. I want to achieve something that will make N2T outshine the rest. So, as N2T's upcoming SGH, I really hope for your cooperation, commitment, patience and understanding. I don't expect a "one-man show" out of all of this. I hope that we will achieve great experiences in the future to come.

Pls be informed that as of now, I dun nid 2 inform you girls abt trng dates/time/venue.. This will be the latest n most updated one, so stick to this, until I inform u abt next wk (it's PENTAS week, HARAP MAKLOM) schedule.

Time: 2 onwards (Mon,Wed,Fri ends @ 6+ ; Tues, Thurs ends ard 8 n maybe extended depends on progress)

Pentas - Collect Cardboard

Hey girls, props Pentas this year kurang ajar. ALOT. The props team have collected cardboards lah, boxes lah etc. But, of course, they can collect until how many ajer kan. So I need you girls to contribute too.

Kotak-kotak yang korg nampak pat belakang kedai ke ape-ape ke, donate lah kepada props team. they need it alot. Kalau korang rase malu nak bwk kotak besar2, ramai-ramai lah, jadi tak malu.

Today, you girls will be attending the meeting. We're planning to have a casual meeting and a fun one. Say, an outing. In other words, not only meeting as in meeting, but to strengthen those loose bondage bondings. It will be held on either 9 or 10 February 2007.

Here are some options, after further thinking and contemplating between all the places we have in mind. You know like money matters - some may not like to spend so much, distance - ada org tkde ezlink nk g mane2 or tk semua ade concession, ambience - some may want a quiet environment if there's meeting which is impossible for us, and some may like to talk over meals. Hopefully the meeting will help to break us out from our comfort zone that is our own friends and cliques to Nira as a whole.

2. East Coast Picnic (ECP) - Cheap, can pot-luck; can mandi-manda; abit far; takut hujan
3. Ridwan & Family Restaurant (Tampines St 82) - Cheap; near to school; not conducive
4. TP meeting room (TP) - Very conducive; cannot eat; very2 near; must book in advance.

Things to note.

1. There will be NO training this week.
2. Normal trngs resume next week, @ same time, place etc.
3. Not coming pls do INFORM me urself. It's only an sms away. (For prepaid users, you may borrow some friend's hp to text, or you can also text me via Starhub WebSMS.
4. We have an upcoming show @ NUS, for their NUS Bulan Bahasa, which will be on 17 March 2007, Saturday, which is 6 days away from our Pentas.
5. Since last "meeting/trng" is meant to discuss this, yet only 5 ppl turn up. So they chose 17 March instead of 17 February,which was the other option. Reason being exam is nearing. This means, we're training for Pentas & NUS show back to back.So please, commitment okay? Any prob, holler me back.
6. Reminder to pls turn up for the Pentas mtg ker briefing tu, tmr. Dunnoe the venue just wait up @ Koi Pond. It shd be that area, or SAA meeting room 5&6.

This is COMPULSORY, the WHOLE of MAG will have to attend this meeting. Unlike previous Pentases, this year's will involve ALOT of sub-groups working TOGETHER.

We need VOLUNTEERS for the preparation of props and costumes.

We need to get these done and over with, so we can concentrate on the trainings. As mentioned earlier, alot of sub-groups will be working together- this means you girls will be involved in other scenes besides solely Nira. By then, we'll be too busy with trainings and rehersals, hence the faster, the better. Oh yes, COMMITMENT is VERY IMPORTANT here. Props kecoh-kecoh belake, babtu ah. Let's make this work girls.

If some of you don't know, the camp is cancelled. The $5 will go to our fund ok. Again, fund is $20. Bayar sikit-sikit, aku paham...

Pls be informed that our trng resume tommorow.Same time, same place. We've got new things to learn n a short important mtg.Those who cant come, sorry pls find out from friends what the mtg is about.

BTW, PERSADA CAMP is cancelled postponed (again) due to aku pon tk tau ape. Next scheduled date for Camp is early MARCH after exams. That is if approved by Director of SAA.

Another thing is there's a sort of a meeting for all Pentas participants this coming Tuesday, same time, place I think mtg room 5 & 6. But I'll try to get them (the directors) to come tmr, so our trng wont be disturbed.

As for the Pentas meeting, i think it's compulsory, but those who cant come, pls inform me, and find out from your friends, since there'll be no repeat telecast. And..i think they're looking for some ppl to help out with stuffs like props n costumes designs ke haper ntah, so, volunteer ONLY if you think you can commit and can give what they want though i believe it's hard so. Jgn nanti dtg ckp tkleh cope, part tu tapak sulaiman singgah.

Our Performance Date & Rehearsal

Ok, girls, fyi, the rehearsal is on TUESDAY 16/1/2007 @ 1945hrs. So, maybe there's switch of plans for Monday & Tuesday. Takpe, just come on Monday seperti selalu okay. But pls, on Tuesday come by 6pm. VERY VITAL.
